Life At Boarding School
At VNHS boarders and day scholars enjoy equal opportunities. Day scholars can avail transportation provided by the school; a fleet of new buses. The management aims to provide boarders with the nurturing environment boarders expect at their homes.
In addition to school secretary/correspondent living on campus to oversee well-being of students, all boarders are supervised by resident boarding-in-charges who are responsible for all aspects of boarding life. Additional staff including most of the teaching faculty also resides on campus and assist in management of boarding facilities. They are also easily accessible should students be interested in special coaching after school or outside scheduled morning and evening study hours.
The boarding-in-charge manages the health, living quarters, individual grooming and laundry needs of the students. Please co-ordinate a facilities walk-around with admissions office should you wish to visit student living quarters.
Boarders are offered nutritious meals for breakfast, lunch and dinner. All meals are prepared in the kitchen by school chef. The menu is different each day and includes seasonal vegetables as they become available. Boarders also enjoy non-vegetarian meals three times a week.
All boarders are offered a cup of milk with breakfast. During summer months all lunch time meals are accompanied with yogurt.
If you wish to enjoy a meal please request admissions office.
